Room rates are based on season, length of stay, number of guests beyond room base occupancy, as well as room features and amenities. Rates for specific rooms are also listed on our partner sites and quoted upon request over the phone. There may be special offers available by booking with us directly, as well as availability mid-week that does not appear on our online calendar, so please inquire.
There is no extra room charge for children 17 and under when they sleep in the same room as their parents as long as the room can accommodate a roll-away bed. Additional adults in any room or suite will be charged $35 (not all rooms accommodate a roll-away). Please call us at (413) 247-3301 to make special arrangements.
To hold a room, we require a valid credit card with pre-authorization of the amount. We will charge your card 24 hours prior to your arrival unless other arrangements have been in advance. Payment can be made by credit card, or cash and we require presentation of valid ID at check-in. We reserve the right to request prepayment of the entire amount 30 days in advance on certain weekends.
If you require an earlier check-in, please let us know and we will look at our schedule to see if we can accommodate an earlier time. We are always happy to look after your luggage if you’d like to drop it with us before check-in. Late check-in is never a problem. Just let us know if you plan to arrive after 9:00 p.m. and we’ll leave the lights on for you and give you instructions for self check-in.
At all times during the booking process, you will be advised to ensure the accuracy of your booking details (guest details, stay dates, room types, room rates, number of guest(s)). Please check your confirmation email carefully. The Old Mill Inn will not be responsible or liable for errors in booking details.
To hold your reservation, we will need your credit card information at the time of booking. We will charge this card for you first night’s stay 7 days before the start of your reservation.
You can cancel free of charge until 7 days before your arrival. You will be charged for the first night if you cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If you don’t cancel your reservation, you will be charged the total price of your reservation. We cannot make changes to a reservation within 24 hours of the start of the reservation. The full cost of the reservation is due at check-in.
If you made your reservation through an online agent/website (Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Booking.com, BedandBreakfast.com etc.) your reservation is subject to their cancellation policies, and you will need to contact that booking company directly to cancel. We cannot make changes or offer discounts or refunds for any reservations that are not booked with us directly, either through our website or by phone.
Reservations for dates in May and October will be charged at the time of booking, and are non-refundable.Due to high demand and the number of advance reservations, we may not be able to accommodate any changes to May and October bookings.
A $500 deposit will be required at time of booking. This secures the Guest’s reservation, and will be refunded to the Guest within 48 hours of check-out as long as no damage to property has occurred beyond wear and tear expected with normal usage. In the event the Guest cancels the reservation prior to 30 days before their scheduled stay, a full refund will be issued. If the cancellation is within the 30 days, the $500 deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation will not be refunded.
We aim to please, and customer service is our highest priority. We have some simple, general policies to make everyone’s stay as enjoyable as possible.
Quiet Hours – Please keep noise to a minimum after 10 p.m. so other guests are not disturbed.
No-smoking – The Old Mill Inn is a non-smoking building. The Old Mill Inn does not permit smoking tobacco, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping and related nicotine devices in the house or within 100 feet of the house. Marijuana is prohibited at all times anywhere on the Old Mill Inn property. Diffusers, incense, and candle burning is not permitted, and will be treated under the smoking policy. If there is evidence of smoking or smoke in the room, a $400 deep-cleaning/remediation fee will be assessed, and the guest may be asked to leave.
No Pets – We cannot accommodate pets. If there is evidence of pets in any of our rooms, guests will be charged a deep-cleaning fee of $300.
Bike – If you are traveling with a bicycle, we may be able to provide secure storage, but we do not allow bikes in guest rooms.
Linens – Linens and other items stained or damaged beyond the expectations of normal use may incur a fee based on replacement of the item(s).
Old Mill Inn reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred as a result of the aforesaid. This includes but is not limited to property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, lost revenue, loss of use, guest compensation and relocation. The Old Mill Inn further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice for any unpaid damages.
Due to the cost of reproducing keys and key chains, lost keys will be assessed a $15 fee. If the key is returned, we will be glad to refund the fee.
Full breakfast is included in the room rate and served daily. We can accommodate most special dietary restrictions, but please let us know in advance by calling our emailing us at least 48 hours prior to your stay.
The Old Mill Inn is is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws, including but not limited to failure to abide by the Old Mill Inn policies, failure to pay for accommodations, disturbing the peace of other guests, acting in a disorderly or threatening fashion, conducting illegal activities or using the Old Mill Inn for an unlawful purpose. If the guest is asked to leave for any aforesaid reasons, they will not be refunded for the cost of their reservation.
You’re going to love it! We left Hatfield after four years (relocated for job) and returned to visit family. We stayed at the Inn and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.
